Biomedica Participates in Both Home Healthcare Forum and Chishang Annual Meeting AI-Powered Osteoporosis Screening Enhances Elderly Care Services

April 27,2025

As Taiwan transitions into a super-aged society, how to harness AI and digital health technologies to create smarter, more accessible healthcare models has become a critical area of focus. Biomedica recently participated in two key events closely related to home-based healthcare, showcasing its practical contributions and innovation potential in elderly care and community health promotion through AI medical technologies.

The first event, held on April 25, was the “Taiwan–Japan Home Healthcare and AI Frontier Forum,” organized by the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre. The forum brought together experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from both countries to explore how AI can be integrated into home healthcare services. As a pioneer in AI-driven osteoporosis screening, Biomedica’s participation facilitated international technical exchange and underscored the value of its technology in diverse healthcare scenarios through cross-sector dialogue with professionals from long-term care, medicine, and information technology. The forum also featured practical case sharing and panel discussions, focusing on the development of smart healthcare services in aging societies and paving the way for future industry collaboration.

On April 27, Biomedica participated in the Chishang Annual Meeting, titled “Spring Cultivation x Innovation in Home Healthcare: Building a Healthy Community Together.” At this event, Biomedica offered free AI osteoporosis screening on-site, providing rapid assessments for around 300 local residents. Designated as the official partner by the Home Healthcare Association, Biomedica’s role in this event demonstrated strong recognition of its technological capability and effectiveness. Its AI screening module can generate a report in just six seconds, enabling early identification of osteoporosis risks and supporting seniors in receiving timely medical recommendations.

This Chishang event combined local rural culture with innovative healthcare technologies, emphasizing the concept of “community-based healthcare delivery.” Biomedica’s participation not only enhanced screening efficiency but also strengthened public awareness and trust in the real-world value of AI in everyday life. Through these two representative events, Biomedica provided direct services to the community while further solidifying its brand positioning as a “Smart Health Guardian.”

Looking ahead, Biomedica will continue to promote the integration of AI technology into home healthcare, long-term care facilities, and remote service environments. It remains committed to bridging healthcare gaps and developing more responsive, personalized, and accessible care models. In the AI-driven future of healthcare, Biomedica aims to serve both as a catalyst and practitioner, working alongside public and private partners to co-create a resilient, people-centered healthcare future.
