Biomedica Brings AI-Powered Osteoporosis Screening to Thailand's Royal Volunteer Medical Spirit Project

Biomedica proudly participated in the Royal Volunteer Medical Spirit Project 2025 in Thailand, held from May 16 to 18 at Chao Phraya Yommarat Hospital, Suphan Buri. This three-day community screening initiative focused on osteoporosis prevention and featured our advanced AI-assisted analysis solution, OsteoCloud.

The event was organized by the hospital’s Orthopedics Department, in collaboration with the Radiology Department, and provided free bone density screening for eligible individuals in the region.

• Step 1: Hip X-ray imaging

• Step 2: OsteoCloud automatically generates a professional BMD report within 6 seconds

• Step 3: On-site consultation with physicians offering personalized health and prevention advice

Our AI solution demonstrates a high correlation (CCC = 0.996) with the DXA gold standard, offering accurate bone health assessments while minimizing workload on frontline healthcare providers. This makes it a scalable and accessible option for rural or resource-limited areas.

This initiative not only highlights the international applicability of Taiwan’s smart medical technologies but also reflects Biomedica’s mission to advance global health equity through innovation.
